THE STRAIGHT SHOT WEST: TULSA TO WAYNOKA ON US-412
From Tulsa, take US-412 W (Cimarron Turnpike) past I-35 to Enid, then continue west toward US-281 N and Waynoka. The drive is about 180 miles and 3 hours.
Enid is an option for a meal or fuel stop. At 131 William Ave #15B, Waynoka, OK 73860, park your car and pick up a Polaris RZR XP 1000, XP4 1000, Pro S, or Pro S4. Helmets and goggles are included. Ride straight from our shop on Waynoka's town streets. Just stay off the main highway and Sahara Drive, and take the sand trail to the park.
The Cimarron Turnpike route uses toll roads; check current toll details before leaving.
GREEN COUNTRY ROCKS & MUD VS. LITTLE SAHARA SAND
Tulsa and Green Country riders can trade wooded, muddy trails near Disney and Grand Lake for 1,600 acres of shifting sand at Little Sahara, with dunes reaching up to 75 feet.
Searchers looking for ATV or 4-wheeler rentals will find multi-passenger Polaris RZR side-by-sides here: the XP 1000 and Pro S seat two, and the XP4 1000 and Pro S4 seat four. Duner's Hut does not rent single-rider quads.

A Tulsa day trip can start with an early drive west, a 4-hour or 8-hour self-guided rental, and a meal at Hammerheads off the sand trail or Jiffy Trip in Waynoka before the drive home.

Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are highlighted as riding seasons. In summer, consider an early start or a 6:00 PM Sunset Guided Tour; guided tour times change with the season.
